About the Free File Alliance | Internal Revenue Service

The Free File Alliance is a group of industry-leading private-sector tax training companies that provide exempt on-line tax training and electronic filing alone through the IRS.gov web site. IRS Free File is a Public-Private Partnership ( PPP ) between the IRS and the Free File Alliance. This PPP requires joint duty and collaboration between the federal government and individual diligence to be successful .

What are the objectives of the Free File Agreement?
