All over the country there are cemeteries and churchyards where soldiers of the Commonwealth are buried. A huge number of those victims are crewmembers of airplanes crashed on their mission to Germany or on their way home.
And of course those who fell during the Operation Market Garden in the area of Arnhem and in other actions in the beginning and the end of the war.
