
Scattered about the battlefields of the First World War in Belgium and the north of France there are restingplaces of a whole generation young men, victims of a terrible war. Not only to find on the well-known cemeteries visited by most of the tourists, but also on communal cemeteries and churchyards. There you will find, almost anonymus, sometimes a handfull of burials or even a single one. My visits to the battlefields lead me to a lot of those interesting places and gives an impression of the extend of that war.
